The Cats Without Tails

I'm FINALLY figuring out gouache! This is the first time I've managed to make a gouache piece with a background, I'm so excited!

So this piece just started as a girl on a roof with her cats, but then I somehow forgot to give the cats tails. So now the story is: A young girl and her sisters have strong gardening magic, but due to a horrid magical curse, her two sisters were turned into cats with no tails. So the young girl has to keep the business strong by herself, and the two sister have to figure out how to use their magic as cats.

Or something like that, I'm fuzzy on the details.
